Project Description
Arlene
Donaire
Born 1986, Perth, Western Australia
Arlene is an economist who’s worked in Philippine government and international development projects since 2000, after returning from her studies abroad. When not at work, she is a travel and street photography enthusiast. She combines her interests in photography with creative writing, having published her travel visual stories since 2014 and written for Manila Bulletin’s Picture Perfect magazine. Arlene actively supports the local photography community, volunteering as either workshop presenter, contest judge, or photo walk leader. She attributes her growth to the confluence of many factors – self-study, workshops, guided tours, mentors, constant practice and being with a nurturing group like Zone V. Arlene’s wanderlust have taken her to many parts of the world but her bucket list is still long and she dreams of one day publishing a book on her love affair with life, travel, and photography.
