The year seemed to breeze by. We are already at the penultimate month of our Club meetings for 2024, we have ticked quite a lot in our planned activities, yet so much is still in store.

First up, the Club meeting for the month of October is originally planned as an online meeting. We gathered from the members that there is a desire to make more in-person meetings, hence, we took note of it and gratefully, we got the nod of Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) that we have been accommodated to have our October 12 meeting at the Ayala Museum, Function Hall 1. Thank you AFI and thank you Happy Milan for working this out.

This Oct 15-21 marks another first for the Club. It will be the first time post-pandemic that we shall venture overseas for our Out-of-Town Shoot (OTS) in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. This city is dear to my heart as about a decade ago, I have been on assignment and lived for half a year in the island. A short but sweet relationship I’ve had with Hong Kong. It would be wonderful to explore and see old places and discover new ones with you as we shoot for “CINEMATIC” as this adventure is another themed OTS.

Big thank you to Billy Palatino, our OTS lead for making sure that all of us will have a terrific time in Hong Kong. Please make sure that you join us in our planned walks and shoots and the Fellowship Dinner on October 19, Saturday. Do check out further announcements on all these.

We are also neck deep in ensuring that our book project in collaboration with AFI and DSWD will be printed and launched next month, and also, our advocacy for providing learning tools for underprivileged kids via our Images of HOPE project also be rolled out next month. Let me extend a word of thanks to the Board for ensuring all these to push through and another appreciation to Happy Milan for working doubly hard for these two projects as he is the man on top overseeing everything. Thank you Happy!

Last but not least, may I remind you to save the date, December 5, Thursday evening for our year-end dinner, Christmas Party and Excellence Awards to be held at our home this 2024, at the Ayala Museum!
