As we step into the vibrant month of August, I am filled with excitement and pride. Our Club’s mantra for this year, “Bigger, Bolder, Brighter, UNSTOPPABLE,” resonates with the spirit of the ongoing Summer Olympics – “Citius, Altius, Fortius – Communiter”. Just like the athletes competing there, we too strive for excellence, pushing our boundaries and capturing life’s essence through our lenses.

As we celebrate the achievements of our Filipino athletes in Paris, we too, celebrate the exciting projects we have in store for the Club. Our collaboration with the Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) for the Book Project is in full swing. The book, currently being drafted, promises to be a testament to our collective passion for photography and storytelling. We anticipate its launch in September the earliest.

Also in the spirit of friendly competition, the theme for our August photo contest is “Mirror Play.” I can’t wait to see the creative images our talented photographers will produce. Remember, it’s not just about capturing reflections; it’s about exploring the interplay of light, symmetry, and imagination as seen through mirrors.

As we navigate this year, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your patience and commitment. We have more in store: a Z Academy workshop is being planned, an OTS event in October, additional in-person meetings, and the launch of “Images of HOPE at year-end. Let’s make this last quarter truly memorable.
