The President’s Viewfinder

Am still smiling. A week ago, we had our very first face to face meeting. A bit of the old and a lot of the new. We met , ate, laughed and for the first time since the pandemic, saw our work in the flesh. It was, in my subjective view, one of the highlights of the quarter.

The 60 plus images, the attendance, the overflowing of generosity and congeniality to each other was very in the ZVCC spirit of camaraderie and unity. To the winners, congratulations. To the probees, your lending hands were much appreciated – and to the  uber diligent contest committee and judges’ committee, maraming salamat. I witnessed the burning of the chat lines, saw the attention to detail and concern for member welfare that was all out, bravo. And to the board, always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, thank you for making this F2F, a wonderful coming out party too.

Let’s keep the high and continue the rah-rah for the busy – and yet another exciting May to come.

The golf tournament needs our focus and push. This kicks off our ROAD TO GOLD. Our key to unlocking our wish list of dreams for our 50^th year. The more successful we make the golf event, the more promise of exciting adventures we can aim for come 2028. So please, nothing is too little nor big when it comes to member support for our golf event.

Next stop, the UNBREAKABLE exhibit that SHANGRI -LA MALL has invited us to. It will be illustrious. Of a theme close to our hearts. It’s an opportunity to sell. A chance to get our art out there. Yes, it has a tight deadline,  but I believe we can dig deep (figuratively and literally, in our bauls J) to make this happen. Let’s do this!!
