Dear Lord, thank you so much for the gift of motherhood and for the children you have placed under our care.

Thank you for allowing us to see how each of them is unique and for using us to bring out the best in each one of them.

Guide us in giving them roots and then giving them wings.

And help us, Lord we pray, to live our lives in such a way that the greatest legacy we leave our children is having led them to your heart, for that is where the greatest treasure in life truly lies.
