Jay’s interest in photography was triggered by his fascination for gadgets. Combined with a discerning eye for visual arts, photography became his platform for the desire to create beauty. Though Jay encountered Zone V, via its 1993 exhibit, which gave him a profound impression, it wasn’t until about a decade later that he officially joined the club; eventually also becoming a club president. Jay enjoys macro shooting most, especially creating experimental, conceptual, and abstract images. From being an exclusively colored shooter, he has also transitioned into black & white and monochromes. Jay has traveled extensively and wishes go back to some of the places he’s been, at more relaxed pace to shoot and take an extended USA coast to coast road trip.
