The 2nd ZVCC Golf Tournament

After 5 months preparation, the 2nd Zone V Camera Club Golf Tournament was held last May 10 at the Valley Golf and Country Club. The event was well received and tickets were sold out with over 140 participants.

The ceremonial tee was led by project lead Bern Wong together with Manny Inumerable, Danny Yu, and former professional basketball player, currently the coach of the winning PBA team Talk N Text, Mr. Jojo Lastimosa.

Boy Kaw, the Sponsorship Committee Head, was able to round-up a host of donors with major sponsors that include PLDT Smart, ATCO Parts, Copacabana Apartment Hotel, First Estan Trading, Magic-Aire and Orocan.

Angela Panlilio, our Club President welcomed the guests during the lunch program and thanked everyone for their participation as proceeds of the event will go to the various causes of Zone V.

The lively program and tournament awarding ceremonies was hosted by sports commentator Anthony Suntay and TV celebrity Samantha Lopez.

Our very own Arnold Chung won in the men’s Class A tournament. Tournament trophies were also designed by Bern Wong.

Everyone is a winner as all participants went home with prizes on hand, including fine art prints donated by Club members.

It was indeed a meaningful activity as Zone V was able to reach out to more people outside our circle and made aware of our Club vision and endeavors. It also fulfilled our objective of enhancing our image and at the same time raising funds for our causes and future projects, particularly our Road to Gold 2028 campaign, which is ZVCC’s 50th Year Celebration.
