UNBREAKABLE … is the bond between Mother & Child

The Exhibit

We had exactly fourteen days from announcement of the exhibit to ingress day. Call it folly but Zone V Camera Club did it with aplomb! Which is not to say that blood, sweat and tears did not overflow for it to happen. It was through the diligence of the board and the members who heeded the call to participate that started the ball rolling. And rolling it did, alongside numerous nail-biting moments. Time was of the essence in every step of the way.

The exhibit ran for two weeks, May 1-14, 2023, at the East Atrium of Shangri-la Plaza. Our theme, “Unbreakable, is the bond between Mother and Child” is a fitting tribute in celebration of all mothers. The images on display were curated to signify a full circle; the first photo showing a baby in the womb,

and the ending photo presenting a mother’s protection for an unborn child. The rest of the works show everything in between a mother and her child.

On a personal note, there was a lot of learning to do. Excitement alone will not make things happen. It is through the help, knowledge, skill, and participation of the people involved that will carry an idea into successful reality. I am grateful to the board for indulging my zeal for the club to join this exhibit, despite having their hands tied with other activities happening simultaneously.
