It’s April! Hello summer!
Things are looking bright and sunny as this is the first time in 2 years that collectively, we can be out and about to shoot and spend the summer holidays in our dream travel destinations after being locked down for two summers in the past.
I hope that you get the time to be with your family and explore the Philippines and the four corners of the world.

For the month of April, we at Zone V Camera Club have another challenging theme – Inner Child. I trust that you get the chance to shoot and participate in our photo contest and Townhall Meeting happening this April 21, Thursday, via Zoom.
We are also excited that for April we have four probee’s who will be inducted as new members of The Club.
Based on the survey we conducted last year, the leading topic you requested that we tackle for our Z Academy session is ‘Lighting’.
We heard you loud and clear, hence, on April 22, we are having the first face to face Z Academy session on the topic with Jiggie Alejandrino as resource speaker.
I am still reeling with fond memories from our 44th anniversary celebration in Taal, Batangas. Great to finally meet in the flesh some pioneering members who travelled the distance to the venue and to see face to face friends after a long time. My sincerest thanks goes to all of you who supported and graced the event.
I am very proud of the way our club has evolved and how we have weathered all the challenges and adversities through the years. Zone V managed to excel in the midst of Covid and came out stronger than ever before.
The board is passionate in improving and continuing the legacy brought forth by our founders. We push our creativity to develop programs and projects to promote excellence in the art of photography and camaraderie. We do all these because we want to live up to our vision, and that is, to be a premier club of photographers.
With that commitment in mind, I look forward to see you all in our Club activities and wishing you a cheerful summer month of April.
